Hollandgreen Place comprises three new residential buildings at the site of the former Commonwealth Institute on Kensington High street.  The project included the alteration and refurbishment of the existing grade 2 listed 1960’s building, which is now the new home of the Design Museum.

Pentangle worked closely with both architects and the client’s interior designer, Collet Zarzycki, to agree the kitchen design, specification and material selection.  The project team visited the stone supplier in Italy and individual slabs were carefully selected for the kitchen worktops, with two options available for purchaser selection.  Pentangle created detailed fabrication drawings, which allowed the worktops to be fabricated to a high standard in Italy.  This was highly cost-efficient since it meant raw material wastage was minimised, particularly relevant when transporting heavy materials across Europe.  Pentangle supplied and installed the kitchens, including the pre-cut kitchen worktops, which fitted precisely in the kitchens.
